Natural Beauty Skincare Secrets

Who doesn't need some really good tips on natural skincare? I sure have profited from natural basic tips I discover from my cutomers, so I will post them for your benefit to. Please feel free to make suggestions I'll post them if they prove useful to our audience.

Tip #1. How to keep your hands looking youthful. The old trick of wearing rubber gloves when working in water or cleansing solutions will work wonders on your skin and nails. This is especially necessary for those who spend a great deal of time in water. For those of you who spend a great deal of time in the outdoors,  I have found that using a quality hand or body cream with shea butter before and after outdoor activities has helped my hands over the years. My husband tells me I have beautiful hands, and who am I to tell him any differently? In cold weather wear gloves outside in warm weather protect the skin with shea cream.

Tip #2. What soap is best for my skin? If you use store-bought commercial liquid or bar soaps they usually contain detergents which removes the natural mantle from the skin and replaces it with an alkaline coating leaving a parchment like texture that is familiar to most of us. The easiest way to combat this problem is to use handmade olive oil soaps that protect the skin between washing. You can also use a few drops of apple cider and water to neutralize the alkalinity of store bought soaps if you just can't bare to switch or afford using handmade olive oil soaps.

Iip #3. How to avoid stretch marks?Don't gain weight is the easiest way, but if you are like the rest of the people in this world that just isn't always possible. Especially for women who get pregnant. Massaging cocoa butter on the abdomen is one way to reduce stretch marks. Tamanu oil has become a very important new product to avoid and to help diminish stretch marks. It is a very thick viscous greenish oil from the seeds of a tree found in Polynesian islands. It has been discussed and introduced on OPRAH and DR OZ shows. I use it on dampened skin and it really makes it look youthful and supple. I also use shea butter creams in between applications.

Tip# 4. Flaky legs and feet? Are you prone to scaly dry skin in the winter especially. The main reason this happens is controlled temperatures ( heat and A/C ) and low humidity. Their are of course many medical reasons for this affliction including but not limited to diabetes which creates a circulatory problem in the lower legs and feet especially. Try my Amazing Healing Salve with Tea Tree Oil to control dry craked sore skin. Tamanu oil is the newest skin product that helps control dry flaky skin. Actually it is an old Polynesian treatment that has been used for centuries and they have gorgeous skin. After your bath while your legs are still damp, apply a moderate amount of tamanu oils on to your hands and massage it into your skin. It will take a while to absorb so try not to cover up with clothing for a while until it has time to work its way into your skin. Use of lavender shea butter cream daily is also very helpful. We make a foot and leg cream that contains tamanu, eucalyptus and shea butter cream it is heavenly and very effective. Use for a week daily and watch the changes in you skins appearance before your eyes.
