During my 15 years in the natural products business, I have found that people with acute and chronic skin challenges are unaware that their trusted store bought soaps (both liquid and bar) are often the culprit of their on-going skin problems. Oddly enough their health-care practitioners start them on a strict regime of aggressive medications (steroids and such) completely ignoring the possibility that the soap they are using could be the basis of their skin problem. Imagine no more skin irritation, breakouts and costly medications by simply changing what soap you put on your skin daily especially knowing you are going to bathe anyway. My soaps are so nourishing and gentle they can be used on the face as well as the body.
Don't take my word for it, Dr. Oz did a segment recently on the harmful chemicals and preservatives found in typical storebought soaps and recommended avoiding them and instead use natural soap without the harmful chemicals. Look for these ingredients on your labels and avoid them like the plague. SLS or sodium lauryl sulfate is a potent grease stripper used to clean garage floors ( it gives your skin that squeaky clean feel). Propylene glycol same ingredient found in radiator fluid ( kills animals when ingested and used for glide in soap). These are chemicals that you don't need in or on your body but are used instead for cost sake instead of pure, rich, natural products like olive oil, coconut oil or grapefruit seed oil a natural preservative. Our soaps are free of SLS, parabens and synthetic preservatives and they are cancer free.
I use natural olive oil, shea butter and other earth born plant and vegetable ingredients. It's no wonder we convert so many new customers who have struggled with skin challenges for so long. According to Dr. Oz " one of the most important things you can do to retain the youth of your skin is to mega moisturize ". Cheap store-bought (liquid and bar) soaps are not made with quality earth grown ingredients and therefore are not naturally moisturizing nor as safe as natural handmade soaps. Even if you choose not to use my soap, find a natural soap maker in your area and become a friend, she will guide you to the right soap for your skin type.
