Historical Essential Oils
Essential oils are very powerful and have a very long history dating back to biblical times. It is said that the Wise men brought gifts of gold, ( Frankincense and Myrrh ) to baby Jesus at birth, historically proving these plant products having superior human value. It was King James ( whom a version of the Bible is named after ) to whom the four thieves confessed that it was the power of a spice concoction that enabled them to rob the dead and dying Bubonic plague victims. This spicy potion is also what we formulated our 4 Crook's soap, oil blend and other related 4 Crook's products from. We have developed a strong following of dedicated users of these particular products.
During the 1400's the Spice Islands, a handful of small, volcanic islands in the Pacific became the focus of worldwide wars because they were a rare source of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and other highly valued medicinal spices. During that period of time, they had all the strategic importance of present-day Panama Canal or Middle East oil. Cinnamon was one of the major goals of world exploration in the 15th and 16th centuries, and thus played a vital role in the discovery of America. So as you can see spices and oils of plants have played a very important role in our human history. During the 1960's there was a strong movement towards synthetic formulas which many have proven to be more harmful than using common sense and natural alternatives.
Our 4 CROOK'S products are made from spices that were gathered and purchased around the world. I feel very confident using my 4 CROOK'S ingredients and I routinely diffuse them in my home to disinfect our space. We rarely are ill and believe that it has to do with the immune boosting response we get from Crook's oil being diffused regularly in our home killing airborne bacteria. I find that when we are traveling I am uncomfortable with many of the hotel rooms we rent and I always diffuse our room with our 4 CROOK'S essential oil formula before we actually spend any amount of time in the room just for safe keeping. It is reported that Clove itself has a very strong success rate against airborne bacteria when diffused in a closed room.
